We meditate upon the adorable glory of the radiant sun; may he inspire our intellect.

Salutations to Lord Hanuman.

We worship the three-eyed Lord, fragrant, who nourishes all beings. May He liberate us from death, granting immortality like a ripe cucumber freed from its stalk.

O Lord Ganesha, with a curved trunk and mighty body, shining like a million suns, remove all obstacles from my endeavors always.

Krishna, known as Govinda, is the Supreme Lord. He has an eternal, blissful, spiritual body. He is the origin of all and the cause of all causes.

You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but not to the fruits of actions. Do not be attached to the results, nor to inaction.

Abandon all varieties of duties and surrender unto Me alone. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.

Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

To that Goddess who resides in all beings as the Mother, salutations again and again.

From the unreal, lead me to the real. From darkness, lead me to light. From death, lead me to immortality.

The giver of happiness, the remover of sorrow, who destroys all obstacles. May his loving grace be with us always.

The one who has a peaceful form, who reclines on a snake, from whose navel sprouts a lotus, the Lord of all gods, the basis of the universe, who is like the sky, whose form is beautiful and the color of clouds.

Knowing me to be without wisdom, I remember the son of the wind. Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge, and remove all my sorrows.

Salutations to the Goddess of success and prosperity, Lakshmi.

She who is as white as a jasmine, with the coolness of the moon and a garland of snow. She who is clad in a pure white garment, whose hands are adorned with the Veena, and who is seated on a white lotus.

Victory to Lord Rama.

I bow to Shiva.

Whenever there is a decline of righteousness and a rise of unrighteousness, O Bharata (Arjuna), I manifest Myself.

Just as the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

Om earth, atmosphere, heavens.

O Annapurna, who is always full, the beloved of Shankara (Shiva), O Parvati, give me alms for the attainment of knowledge and detachment.

Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust from the lotus feet of the Guru, I describe the pure glory of Lord Rama, which bestows the four fruits of life.

Salutations to the revered Rudra (Shiva).

O energy of the Lord, O Lord Krishna, O Lord Rama, please engage me in Your service.

Om, Hail, Hail Mahalakshmi. Salutations to the great illusion, who is worshipped in Sri Peetham. O Mahalakshmi, who holds a conch, discus, and mace, I bow to you.

The soul is never born nor dies at any time. The soul, once existing, does not cease to be. It is unborn, eternal, permanent, and ancient. It is not slain when the body is slain.

Om. The universe is Vishnu, the Lord of sacrifice, the master of past, present, and future. He who creates, sustains, and gives form to all beings.

This holy hymn to the Sun-God, Aditya Hridayam, destroys all enemies, brings victory, is eternal, and bestows supreme auspiciousness.

We meditate on the great being, the great commander. May the six-faced one illuminate our intellect.

We meditate on the great God, the form of Rudra. May Shiva illumine our intellect.

Salutations to the Lord of Hosts, Ganesha.

O Flute Player, the enchanting one, the protector of cows, the great lord. O Krishna, the great protector, the enemy of Murari.

Victory to Lord Rama, Victory to Rama, Victory, Victory to Rama.

Salutations to Goddess Durga.

I bow to Narayana (Vishnu).

O giver of all auspiciousness and prosperity, O auspicious one, who fulfills all desires, O refuge, O three-eyed Gauri, O Narayani, salutations to you.

I surrender to Sri Rama's messenger, who is swift as thought, swift as the wind, a master of the senses, the foremost among the wise, the son of the wind-god, and the chief of the monkey army.

Worship Govinda, worship Govinda, worship Govinda, O foolish mind! The rules of grammar will not save you at the time of your death.

I bow to Shiva and Bhavani (Parvati), whose form is white like camphor, who is the embodiment of compassion, who is the essence of the universe, who wears a garland of snakes, and who always resides in the lotus of my heart.

May Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu—may all these planets bring peace to us.

We meditate on Lord Vishnu, who is clad in white, who has a beautiful form like the moon, and who has four hands. By meditating on his cheerful face, all obstacles are removed.
